Race Bulletin 1
Acceptance
This new race series is open to individuals who are registered to race with Snowsport England / Scotland / Wales / Ireland and hold a current race licence. Entries up to 200 competitors will be accepted on a first come basis for each race. The British Indoor Snow Seeding System for indoor snow centres will be applied to these races.

All competitors are expected to show due courtesy to the organisers and prizewinners by being present at prize giving. Those prizewinners who do not attend without good reason lose their claim to the award.
Organisation
These events are being organised by Lions Ski Club (an affiliated member of Showsport England) sponsored by Salomon, Xscape, Snozone, Chill Factore & Ski Sun Holidays.

TIMES MAY VARY and could be earlier or later than those below. Start times will be on the website if different from these times. Announcements will be made during the event of any time changes.

Second course setting and runs will be announced on the day same format as above for second run i.e. Minis followed by Children followed by Juniors/Seniors/Masters
Every attempt will be made to keep to the stated times. However, organisers reserve the right to change the programme or race format, as necessary.
Officials have been instructed to apply the unsportsmanlike behaviour rule to any racer using bad language. This will result in sanctions, ultimately leading to bans for repeated offences. All competitors must wear a properly fitting FIS approved safety helmet during training and competitions. Gloves and long sleeves must be worn at all times whilst on the slope including during open practice, course inspection and the race itself. Racers inspecting the course must wear skis and carry/wear bibs with number clearly visible. No one is allowed to ski the course during inspection. Coaches may accompany their racers on skis, as long as they have registered their accreditation.
Competition Rules
These events are run under the FIS ICR (International Competition Regulations), amended and augmented by the appropriate British, and where applicable Member Group rules including ski length regulations as follows:

Notes:
1) Jun 1 at FIS/ENL. Tolerance -10cm
2) Ski Length must be marked on the ski
Ski lengths will be checked at these races and if skis are not of the appropriate length, the skier will be cautioned and any results will not count towards either the seeding list, the event results or the series results. <
There will be no tolerance for JN1 females - ski length for JN1 and above (females) is the required 155cm
Protocol Protests
Any protest must be made immediately to the Chief of Race / Referee with protest fee of £25
First Aid
FIRST AID medical facilities will be provided by the Snow Centre.
Race Bibs
Race bibs must be returned to the Finish Marshall on completion of the second run. Failure to do so will result in a charge of £25 for each missing bib.
Entry Fees
Entry fee is £21 per skier per race.
Online entry available at www.britishindoorgrandprixseries.org.uk/race_entry.php or cheques payable to "NorSki UK" and sent to the Race Secretary at the address shown below with a completed entry form www.britishindoorgrandprixseries.org.uk/documents/2010/entry_form_2010.doc. The orgraniser reserves the right to limit entries. (NorSki UK is a subsidiary of Lions Ski Club)
Closing Date for Entries
7 days prior to the race event.
NB. Earlier closing date will apply if maximum capacity is reached (i.e. 200 entries).
All entries will be on first come basis received by post with entry fees and attached entry form enclosed with disclaimer signed.

Compilation of the Series Results
The British Indoor Grand Prix Series final results shall be compiled from the aggregate of the points gained from each of the races. After each event in the series, points will be awarded to appropriate competitors as follows:-
Overall male competition - Series points will be awarded to the first ten male competitors who successfully finish the race as follows:
15 points (1st place), 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (10th place)
Overall female competition - Series points will be awarded to the first ten female competitors who successfully finish the race as follows:
15 points (1st place), 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (10th place)
Age Group Competitions - Series points will be awarded to the first five males or females in each group as follows:
